Foreigners investing a minimum amount in Korea and their families receive F-2 Resident status. Maintaining the investment for 5 years grants permanent residency.

Investment Procedure

1. STEP 01: Preliminary Review

   Assesses eligibility for status of stay in Korea.

2. STEP 02: Establishment of a Bank Account for a Wire-Transfer of Investment Money

   Open a new bank account for investment transfer.

3. STEP 03: Visa Issuance and Entry

   Support for visa application and entry to Korea.

4. STEP 04: Investment Confirmation and Change of Your Status to F-2 Resident

   Change status to F-2 Resident after making investments in Korea.

Benefits

The investor, spouse, and unmarried children receive F-2 Resident status, allowing free entry/exit, work, business, and study in Korea. Maintaining the investment for 5 years grants F-5 Permanent Resident status.
